TERMS & CONDITIONS

Call-Out Policy

All call-out fees include up to one hour of travel time. Any travel time exceeding one hour will be charged at our standard hourly labour rate, depending on whether the work is carried out during normal working hours or outside of hours.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM 
  • Saturday: 9:00AM – 12:00PM 


(Out of Hours)


From £120.00

Out of Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: From 5:00PM 
  • Saturday: From 12:00PM 
  • Sunday: All Day 

Labour Rates Policy

(In Hours)


£60.00 per hour


  • Monday to Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM 


(Out of Hours)


£90.00 per hour


  • Monday to Friday: From 5:00PM 
  • Saturday: From 12:00PM 
  • Sunday: All Day

Estimates & Approval

Please ensure you have carefully read and understood your estimate before proceeding.

By sending a deposit, you confirm that:


  • You have read, understood, and agreed to the full details of the estimate, including all listed costs, parts, and labour. 
  • You acknowledge that the deposit confirms acceptance of the quoted work and authorises WARDS WORKSHOP LTD to proceed as described. 
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to review the estimate fully and raise any questions or concerns before paying the deposit. 

Deposit & Payment Terms


  • A 50% deposit of the estimated total is required to confirm and schedule the work. 
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the job, before the vehicle or equipment is released or handed back. 
  • Final costs may vary if additional labour, repairs, or parts are required that were not included in the original estimate. 
  • Customers will always be informed and asked to approve any additional costs before extra work is carried out.


Deposit Confirmation


Once a deposit has been received, it will be treated as formal agreement to all terms and conditions listed above, including the agreed scope of work, pricing, labour, and service conditions.

If anything is unclear or you would like to discuss any part of your estimate, please contact us before sending your deposit. We are always happy to explain any details or make adjustments where possible.

Trade Account Customers


Customers with an approved trade account are exempt from the standard 50% deposit requirement.

For account holders, full payment will instead be due in line with your allocated payment terms and agreed due date.

Supply of Parts Only

  • Supply-only parts orders are exempt from the 50% deposit requirement. 
  • Full payment is required upfront before any parts are ordered. 

Quote Validity & Adjustments


  • All estimates and quotations are valid only for the period stated on the estimate. 
  • Expired quotations may be subject to price changes due to fluctuations in parts, materials, or labour costs.

Parking, Access & Attendance


  • Any parking charges, toll fees, or access costs incurred while attending a job will be passed directly to the customer. 
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access and parking at the work location. 
  • Labour and attendance charges begin from arrival at the agreed location and continue until completion of the work. 
  • If we arrive and the vehicle, equipment, or work area is inaccessible, unavailable, or the booking cannot proceed, an additional call-out fee and any waiting time charges may apply before work can be resumed or rescheduled.
